1949 General Electric No. 806 TV measles AF - 301604 - 0311241940s; General Electric Co. New York Vintage black and white CRT, designated as model no. 806 (mahogany). This piece features a simple wooden chassis with safety glass screen and 10" CRT screen. It was sold under the "Daylight Television" banner by GE, as it boasted (for the time) brighter than normal pictures with higher contrast; this came as a result of many other TVs having a low contrast and washed out image.
